I've completed my Obstetrics posting today. The part I like most is working in the nursery. When it's time to knock off, I really dont feel like leaving. Babies are just so cute and motivate me to work. Guess I wont be able to come back anymore :(
Baby is getting better already. Still can make fun of me lah! Stupid boy :}

And I've decided sth today. I wont give birth in KK hospital cos of one nurse. What she did really scare the shit out of me. Treating the small fragile baby so violently. Saying harsh remarks and scolding vulgarities! I cant believe there's such an evil nurse. I pity the poor babies and I hate myself for not having the courage to stop her. I'm a student nurse afterall. But I believe there's retribution. Anyway, I heard from my friends that it's good to give birth in Thomson Medical Centre{?} cause they provide better care. True ?

Dad is very naughty cause he's not back yet. He's not fully recovered yet and he still dare to go out for so long. Haiyo. Alright i'm off. Goodbye

Few days back, Baby was having super high fever. Doctor suspected H1N1. Really made me worry like mad. I went to visit him as much as I can, bought food for him cause this boy really dont have someone to cook proper meals for him. So pitiful.
Attachment this week is relaxing. We spent the whole shift playing with babies, talking to their mothers and chatting among ourselves. It is damn shiok lah. Teacher brought us good news on Tuesday. Saying that we are able to look after the babies in the nursery because the quarantine period is over. It really make us feel so happy and excited. But we have to take turns in entering the nursery.

I'm very happy now cause;
Baby is getting better day by day,
Tmr it's my turn to enter the nursery! Cute little pies here i come.
I can have more sleep next week cause I'm attached to CGH.
Today, a patient nominated my name in the feedback form. At that time, I felt so happy. She even thank me for looking after her baby. Her son is my favourite baby too. But sad that they're discharged today. His Dad still asked me to give him a English name. And I gave.
Hope that all happy things will stay.

COM IS HAVING SOME VIRUS NOW, SIAN.

Dad is recovering bit by bit now. Surprisingly his recovery rate is faster than others and I'm glad. Mum says most likely he can be discharge this coming mon or tue, so HERE WE COME GRANNY!. Cant wait to stay with my grandparents. We're all packing our stuffs ready to spend a short holiday there. Haas

This coming week I'm attached to KK 's Obstetric {spelling?} ward. I will be able to see newborn babies! So happy! I hope I can look after the babies in the nursery cause they dont allow too many nurses inside plus the H1N1 thingy. Last week, I'm attached to KK 's Gynae ward. Seen abortion, miscarriages and alot of problems related to the female reproductive organ. But I must say I cant stop recalling back one abortion case I've seen. Keep recalling back the scene when the nurse did last office for the dead fetus. It's quite sad lah. So it's better to think about the consequences before you DO IT because you're killing a life afterall.

I'm sad cause I cant meet Baby for 3 days. I will be working afternoon shifts for 3 days. That means I'll end work late :( But Baby dont come and fetch me k? Cause you still have skl the following day. I want you to have enough sleep. Glad that we're okay now. What happened previously is past alr. Just have to refrain making such mistakes again. I love you Baby.

One week of attachment down. 3 weeks left. Met new friends. Learn new things. Explore new things. Tired but it is enriching :) Things between me and him are fine now. We always settle/clarify our problems fast because we hate cold wars. But I still feel so strange. Guess I think too much lah :} But Hubby thanks for your understanding and assurance. I love you.

Final decision;
For morning shift - To take Mrt and switch to a bus/shuttle bus. {Hope there will be shuttle service provided for nurses. It will make transport more convenient :)}
For afternoon shift - To take one direct bus but it takes super long.
Just have to repeat this routine for 10 days and I will be able to have more sleep :D

Cycled to Granny's house for dinner. Jenny aunt surprise us with durians. Yummy.
I duno how to describe my feeling for tmr's attachment? I feel excited happy worried tired ...
Will be missing my dear like mad because I wont be meeting him so much. Hope he understands and miss me also.

Trial tomorrow.

Titanic was so so touching T.T

Prolly going to KK tmr. A trial one. So I wont be late on my first day or get lost. Baby is so sweet to go with me despite having project work to do. Thanks sweet.
Dad will be admitted on Mon and going for his operation on Tue. Pray hard he will be fine, his operation will be successful, he will recover fast and he wont experience any back pain anymore.
My whole family will be moving to granny's house after Dad's discharge. Because he needs someone to look after him, cook for him, attend to his needs and all of us are either working or studying. So it wont be safe for him to stay at home alone. We will be staying there till Dad recovers. I'm happy to move back there because I really missed Granny's home cooked dishes and her cosy home. And also I hope I can make new friends during my upcoming attachment. Hope everything goes well for Dad's operation and my attachment.
